Freeride holidays in South Tyrol

At the moment, South Tyrol can offer only two official downhill courses, freeriding options though, in relation to the prepared downhill courses, are much more spectacular and diverse.The freeriding course in Kohlern, near Bolzano, has reached cult status by now. In all of South Tyrol’s other bike regions, like in Laces in Vinschgau Valley, the area around Catinaccio and Latemar, and around the Tre Cime in Hochpustertal Valley in the Dolomites, there are freeriding courses that have already been published in all the well-known cycling magazines.

With all the fun of freeriding in South Tyrol, we must not forget that we must always show consideration for hikers and, most importantly, for the flora and the fauna of the mountains.
