Bolzano and the surrounding area,
mountain bikers will find a huge range of hidden trails and winding paths. At the beginning of the season,
Monticolo Forest offers cyclists hundreds of kilometres of forest paths and single trails. In summer, four cable cars adjust your starting point upwards, to an altitude of more than 1,000 metres.
Freeriders will also appreciate the cable cars. In order to best locate the downhill trails, we recommend a guided freeride tour run by one of our bike academies.
Flat cycling routes through vineyards and light traffic on the many side roads contribute to the popularity of this
biking region for racing cyclists and Slow Bike enthusiasts alike. In summer, racing cyclists also have the option of scaling the surrounding mountains and passes.
