An easy tour above Brixen/Bressanone. Beautiful panoramic view from the Masitter Jöchl and the Sonneck over the Eisack valley. An interesting downhill until Schnauders / Snodres and a comfortable last stretch of the circuit on the „chestnut trail“ back to Felthurns/Velturno. The whole itinerary on byroads.
Starting from the Hotel Unterwirt (850 m) in Felthurns/Velturno follow the town road towards Guln. At the next intersection turn right and follow the blu D sign drinving past refuge Glanger until Schnauders/Snodres (1.000 m). Continue following sign no. 9-18 until the little church Fös. Turn right on sign no. 9 until Stilums/Stilumes (1.200 m). From Stilums / Stilumes on a gravel road to Gereuth/Caredo and to the parking area Perlunger Platte. Continue on the road with sign no. 9 uphill to Masitter Jöchl (1.534 m). Then uphill on gravel road no. 6-13 to Sonneck (1.590 m). Downhill in Schalderer valley on trail no. 6-18 to Schalderer Badl. Turn right and alongside the river Schnauders following sign no. 5 until lake Faller. Right to Salern / Vocational training centre for agriculture and follow sign no. 20 to Tils/Tiles. From Tils/Tiles on trail no. 10 to Tötschling. Continue on the „chestnut trail“ 11a/11 to Hotel Wöhrmaurer, drinving past farmstead Ziernfeld and return to the Hotel Unterwirt in Felthurns/Velturno.
