An easy tour to start! In part on asphalt road, in part on gravel crossing the towns above Klausen/Chiusa. You should not miss castle Fonteklaus.
Starting from the Hotel Unterwirt in Felthurns/Velturno on the road to Klausen/Chiusa, downhill driving past the sports area. Arrived at the main road, turn left and then right to cross the bridge. After having crosses the Eisack river, left to Gufi daun/Gudon, drive past restaurant Weißes Rössl. In Gufi daun/Gudon uphill on the road towards farmstead Spisser. After the intersection to farmstead Spisser on gravel road until Hotel Gnollhof. After Hotel Gnollhof follow sign 6 to Lajen/Laion. In Lajen/Laion turn right and following sign 6a downhill towards Gufi daun/Gudon to castle Fonteklaus. Turn left and follow the road to Klausen / Chiusa. On the main road turn right, then left to cross the bridge and return to the Hotel Unterwirt in Felthurns/Velturno on the same way.
