Start the
Aparthotel Maier. At our exit on the right for 40 meters, turn left up the steep paved road to Lichtenstern, at the entrance of the hotel Lichtenstern left, past the „Haus der Familie“ the second left into the parking lot of the „Südtiroler Hof“. At the far left end reaches more on the way up to No. 5 Red to Riggermoos. On the other side of the main road follow the forest road and after 150 m turn right through a gate on the little singletrail (signposted No. 6 to „Tann“) after 150 m is a small forest road. Follow the forest road No 6 left until the paved road below the Waldhotel Tann. Follow the paved road left until Pemmern (start the cable car Rittner Horn).
Over the small bridge and follow the paved forest road past a reservoir (on the left side) to the „
Rosswagen“. Straight on No. 4 the dirt road, after 20 m right and stay at the dirt road, past the „Unterhorn Haus (rest) and „Feldtuner Hütte“ (refreshments) to the Rittner Horn with its fantastic panoramic view (stop) the highest point (2.260m ). Back the same way! To the „Unterhorn Haus“ and continue down road to reach No. 4 on the paved road on the
Rosswagen. Left the paved road to follow Pemmern. 200 m after the
Tann right down to the well-known forest road No. 6 to Riggermoos. There, cross the street and reached the trail number 5 to the „Südtiroler Hof“. Right on the road and the single trail No 5 to „Costalovara“ to the goal Apparthotel Maier.
