"Krauti" comes from Austria. The qualified cook came in 1995 to South Tirol. In the beginning the biking was only a hobby; "Krauti" investigated the road net of the region and soon recognised the potential as a bike paradise. I'm 46 years old and I am from Cortaccia. Have the diploma for MTB Guide and Instructor. My bike territory is primarily the south of South Tyrol, but also the wonderful Dolomites and high Alpin bike trails is not a problem for me. My motto is: To enjoy the beauty of the nature so that every adventure to remain.

I am an enthusiastic biker since 10 years, whereas I mainly prefer the tours with a big difference in altitude. I am furthermore an enthusiastic competitive biker, whereas I already participated on many famous marathon races like the Dolomiti Superbike and Sella Ronda Hero. Through my profession and a formation as sommelier, I naturally know the best huts and the most liked places to make a stop during the various tours. My name is Michael Eisath and I am 20 years old. I have been a mountain biking fan for around seven years. My homeland’s unique location and the wonderful natural surroundings around the Rosengarten-Latemar make mountain biking really special here. I love riding long routes and being able to make the most of the fabulous nature at the same time, and single trails and fast descents are among my favorite things. In the winter months I put my mountain bike away and take to my skis instead.

Bruno has for many years been a passionate rider of mountain bikes and racing bikes. He knows the South Tyrolean mountains, the extreme terrain and more gentle tours of the pastures! In winter too, the qualified ski instructor is always found outdoors. In January 2011 he participated in the Guinness Book of Records’ ski altitude differential world record. His skills are very versatile: Bruno is an instructor for Nordic Walking, a Kneipp path guide, a masseur, a Tui Na therapist and a sauna attendant. The intensive engagement with nature took him on an exciting journey through life! During a longer stay in a Shaolin monastery in Den Feng (China) he developed an affinity for Chinese medicine and discovered his new motto: “Being calm makes you strong”. He tries to instil this awareness in his sporting participants too.

I'm the hotel manager of Hotel Erica and a certified bike guide since 2004. I am looking forward to taking you on a guided tour by mountain bike, showing you the beautiful South Tyrol mountain world and the Dolomites. Christoph Kofler and his wife Frau Beatrix run the Hotel Maria – He is a bike guide, mountain enthusiasts, and racing biker. His tour advice cannot be beaten, and his ideas to make biking a really special experience are excellent.

Gertrud Brunner we can say is the mother of the mountainbike guides of Bike School Eggental. After driving for nearly 20 years of trips to the Hotel Erica, finally, after passing the course of mountainbiking she can contrentrare complete on the cyclists. Gertrud accompanies the famgilie with his bike and all those who want to enjoy quiet walks.

As your host at the Design Hotel Tyrol in Rabland, Boris will guide you on Wednesdays via short, crisp climbs to stunning lookouts and alpine cabins. When it comes to mountain biking, Andrea Borgogno is our man. Before launching his bike guide career in 2009, he worked as a chef at the Vitalpina Hotel Dosses and taught snowboarding in the winter. His love of nature and passion for all outdoor activities ultimately led him to train as a mountain bike guide and demonstrate his extensive technical expertise and endurance in a wide range of cycling and mountain biking races. Success proved him right. Andrea took first place in the Plan de Corones Marathon and third place in the marathon championship in Val di Fassa. He also did very well in his home race, the Sellaronda Hero.
Andrea knows the trails and bike paths in the area around St. Christina in Val Gardena like the back of his hand. We are delighted to make him available as a bike guide to guests of our Dosses bike hotel. Most importantly, his experience as a chef gives him a knowledge of nutrition that benefits mountain bikers in training.

Markus Lanzinger, the hotel manager of Hotel Alpenblick and qualified mountain-bike guide (member of the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten) prefers the countless singletrails, according to the motto “what is walk-able, is also bike-able”.

“Ladies first”: under this motto your host and professional bike guide Sabine Lanzinger (member of the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten) accompany all the “biking ladies” on the tours.

Tschurtschenthaler Fred is owner of the bike-meeting point and guest house "Putschall". He accompanies you in his off time as a trained bike guide (member of the Bike Academy Sesto Dolomites) on numerous bike tours. He focuses crispy uphills, technical singletrail's and cool freeride tours.

Sport is his life! He has been for 15 years a member of the Italian National Ski Team and also winner of several World Cup races. Even when he was still a ski racer, the bike accompanied him in his workouts. Now, after his retirement from the ski racing sport, he has completed the education us a Bike Guide (member of the Bike Academy Sesto Dolomites).
