Sella Ronda - the MTB tour

Awe-inspiring panoramic views and plenty of lifts

The Sellaronda Hero has turned the famous four pass tour in the Dolomites into a real cult-status circuit for mountain bikers as well. The tour on forest tracks, roads through Alpine meadows and trails around the imposing Sella massif in the heart of the Dolomites is now just as much in demand in summer as in winter and is absolutely the tops for those who love panoramas. In terms of riding skills, the Sellaronda is also feasible for moderately experienced mountain bikers. We recommend that you travel the Sellaronda MTB tour in a clockwise direction, starting in Selva di Val Gardena. Alternatively, you could also choose Corvara as your starting point. In Selva di Val Gardena you take the Dantercepies funicular to Passo Gardena and from there you take the trail to Corvara. From here, you take the cable car to Col Alto in the direction of Pralongia and then take a high-level trail to Passo Campolongo and down to Arabba, where you can shorten the ascent once more by taking the cable car to Porta Vescovo. From here, you go up to Passo Pordoi and along good trails to Canzei and Campitello. Take the Col Rodella funicular to Passo Sella and to the Città dei Sassi or City of Stones and down to the departure point, Selva di Val Gardena. We recommend that mountain bikers, who are unfamiliar with the region, cycle the Sellaronda with a guide. Ein Besuch bei der Königin - die Sella Ronda mit dem Mountainbike!
