Bike Highline Meran(o)

Biking pleasure high above the Merano region

Such a choice of panoramic views and trails as on the 22 km long Bike Highline Meran(o) is not to be found every day. At 1,500 m above sea level, the Highline, created in 2014, links the Monte San Vigilio in the east with the Marzoner Alm. It is particularly pleasant that it is not absolutely necessary to tackle the climb to the Highline under your own steam, for mountain bikers can save their energy either by taking the Rio Lagundo railway or by taking the shuttle. If you want to make a statement and put your back into climbing, there are six different uphills to choose from. Along the route, with its unparalleled scenery, there are also several rest stops and, even more importantly, another four sign-posted trails back down to the valley. Key data: Lupo Trail: Length 4.8 km - S1, short sections S2 Fontana Trail: Length 4.4 km - S1-S2 Ötzi Trail: Length 5.2 km -S2, short passages S3 Stoanbruch Trail: Length 8 km - S1, S2, short passages S3
Duration 2,5 h
Length 22 km
