Velturno can be regarded as the front-row seat of
Valle Isarco. This South Tyrolean village is located along the Valle Isarco
Chestnut Trail and opposite the Odle/Geisler Dolomites, which are especially enchanting in the twilight.
Everywhere around Velturno you can choose from comfortable to demanding tours, hence there are dream tours for everyone. Very popular amongst mountain-bikers are the
alpine pastures Alpe di Villandro/Villanderer Alm, Latzfonser Alm, Alpe di Verdinges/Verdingser Alm and Alpe di Velturno/Feldthurner Alm. You can cycle there either directly from the
BikeHotel or pleasure cyclists can take the shuttle bus to the Kühhof car park (1550 m), Garner Weather Cross (1410 m) or Kasereck (1930 m). Back to Velturno you can either cycle on trails or on easy forest paths. And if you prefer to stay in the valley, you can cycle along the
Valle Isarco cycling track.
Our tip: In the surroundings of Velturno there are
huge alpine pastures. In order to avoid looking for valuable tours and lose precious time, you should contact the pros of the
BikeHotel and the Bike School BrixBike from the very beginning.
