Pustertal Valley Bike Route: Mühlbach - Innichen

The Puster Valley Cycle Path offers a diverse route through the stunning landscapes of South Tyrol. From picturesque villages to the Austrian border, it provides numerous opportunities to experience the nature and culture of the area up close. Whether you are a sporty cyclist or looking for a family-friendly ride, there’s a perfect section for everyone.


Directions

The paved cycle path begins in Mühlbach and takes you through the charming villages of Niedervintl, Obervintl, Kiens, Ehrenburg, and St. Lorenzen until you reach Bruneck. The route is very flat and stretches for 25.5 km– perfect for a leisurely ride to enjoy the scenic views.

From Bruneck, the path continues through Percha, Niederolang, Mitterolang, Oberolang, Ried, Niederdorf, and Toblach, reaching Innichen. This second stage is also very flat and extends for 33.5 km, making it ideal for a relaxed ride that everyone can enjoy while taking in the region’s beauty.


Parking

In Mühlbach, there are several parking options to start your bike ride comfortably. Public parking spaces are available both in the village center and on the outskirts, making them ideal for day visitors. Additionally, there are convenient parking spots at the Mühlbach train station, providing easy access to the cycle path.

If you don’t have your own bike, you can easily rent one at Bike Rental Leitner at Mühlbach train station, ensuring you’re all set for your cycling adventure!
