Bike tour: Lake Monticolo- Lake di Caldaro
From Kurtatsch a.d.W. via Neumarkt and Auer to Lake Caldaro, continuing to the Montiggl Lakes, Tramin a.d.W. and back to Kurtatsch a.d.W. via Rungg.
E-Bike & Pleasure Cycling
From Kurtatsch a.d.W. we cycle to Neumarkt, a medieval gem on the Adige River, and follow the cycle path to Auer. From there, we pass the Lake Caldaro biotope and follow the eastern shore of Lake Caldaro towards Lavasontal. An asphalt forest road then leads to Montiggl and the Montiggl Lakes (short steeper section). After a break at the lake, we continue to the western shore of Lake Caldaro, then to Tramin a.d.W. and return to Kurtatsch a.d.W. via Rungg.

Kurtatsch can be reached via the A22 Brenner Motorway by taking the Neumarkt–Auer–Tramin exit. From there, follow the Wine Road towards Tramin and continue to Kurtatsch a.d.W.

Public transport
- Kurtatsch can be reached by train from Bozen to Neumarkt–Tramin or Auer, and from there with bus line 122 directly to Kurtatsch a.d.W.
- It can be reached by train from Bozen to Neumarkt-Tramin, and from there wuth the bus line 123 directly to Kurtatsch a.d.W.
Please check in advance whether bicycles can be taken on the bus.
