Directions

From the car park at H.-Schweiggl Square in Kurtatsch a.d.W., the route leads to Penon a.d.W., then to Hofstatt and Corona a.d.W. From here, you reach the Grauner Joch, where a magnificent panoramic view awaits near the Kuhlegerhütte hut (not staffed). The trail then continues to Malga Rodezza (open in summer). After a break, climb up to the Fennberger Joch saddle to enjoy splendid views of the nearby Non Valley. From the Fennberger Joch, the trail ascends to Fennberg and then returns via Penon a.d.W. to Kurtatsch a.d.W. A strenuous hike with magnificent panoramic views.

Description to arrive at destination

Kurtatsch a.d.W. can be reached via the A22 Brenner Motorway. Take the Neumarkt–Auer (Egna–Ora) exit and follow the South Tyrolean Wine Road to Kurtatsch a.d.W.

Public transport

Kurtatsch a.d.W. can be reached by train to Neumarkt–Tramin or Auer. From there, bus route 122 takes you directly to Kurtatsch a.d.W.

Recommended equipment

For the bike tour, you should bring a helmet, enough drinking water, sun protection, weather-appropriate clothing, and a repair kit.
