Thanks to a well-developed network of E-bike charging stations at the mountain huts, those who prefer assisted pedaling can also enjoy this wonderful tour.

Route description

The Seiser Alm is probably the perfect “playground” for leisure bikers who want to enjoy a relaxed tour without missing out on the stunning mountain scenery. Europe’s largest high alpine pasture offers not only breathtaking panoramas on this route, but also a great mix of climbs and descents that are ideal for leisure bikers. Thanks to a well-developed network of E-bike charging stations at the mountain huts, those who prefer assisted pedaling can also enjoy this wonderful tour.

 

Description to arrive at destination
The starting point is Selva di Val Gardena. Access via Val Gardena from the Brenner Motorway (exit Chiusa) towards Ortisei and continue to Selva.

Public transport
The starting point in Selva di Val Gardena is easily accessible by public transport. By train you can travel to Brixen or Bolzano. From there, regular bus connections run to Val Gardena and on to Selva. Within the valley, additional local bus lines provide flexible travel options.
Safety instructions
Parts of the tour follow gravel and alpine paths that may also be used by hikers and agricultural vehicles. Please ride carefully and be considerate of other trail users. Maintain an appropriate speed, especially on descents. Before starting the tour, check the current weather conditions in the Dolomites.
Equipment
A well-maintained mountain bike or e-mountain bike with reliable brakes is recommended. Wearing a helmet, gloves and weather-appropriate clothing is advisable. Bring enough water, a small repair kit, and a smartphone or map for orientation.
