General description
Vernuer and Gfeis have long been lonely, hard-to-reach mountain hamlets. Today, a paved road leads up to the small settlements, from which a great view is offered of the Merano area and the Sarntaler Alps.
Description to arrive at destination
The tour starts in the centre of Schenna. You can reach the starting point via Merano. Follow the signs towards Schenna and drive to the village centre.
