Tour Reschensee lake - Schenna
E-Bike & Pleasure Cycling
Reschensee lake is one of the most important reservoirs in the Vinschgau Valley, as it was artificially created only after the end of the Second World War. Before the reservoir was built, the small village of Graun in Vinschgau stood in this valley. Today, the church tower still rises out of the lake.
The Vinschgau cycle path, or Etsch cycle route, is one of the most beautiful cycling routes in South Tyrol. It largely follows former Roman roads and offers breathtaking views of the mountain world, historic castles, and idyllic apple orchards.
If you bring your own bike and want to experience the Vinschgau cycle route, a bike shuttle will take you from Schenna to the starting point at Lake Reschen – daily from April to October.
Meeting point: 8:20 a.m. at the fire station.
Online booking:www.suedtirolbike.info, Tel. +39 331 9504005.
