Bike Tour Auer - Fleimstalbahn - San Lugano
This cycling tour follows the former Fiemme Valley railway through vineyards, historic villages and nature parks to Predazzo, offering stunning views and wine culture.
E-Bike & Pleasure Cycling
Following the tracks of the former Val di Fiemme Railway, this scenic cycling route leads from Auer/Ora to Predazzo in the Val di Fiemme valley. Along the way, Mediterranean landscapes give way to alpine scenery, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Starting from the Adige Cycle Route, the tour winds through orchards and vineyards, passing the historic villages of Auer/Ora, Pinzon/Pinzano and Montan/Montagna. Following the former railway line, the route continues along forest tracks and gravel paths through woodlands and the natural landscapes of Trudner Horn/Monte Corno Nature Park, passing through Kaltenbrunn/Fontanefredde and climbing towards San Lugano Pass. From here, paved cycle paths lead into Val di Fiemme, passing Molina di Fiemme and Cavalese before reaching the former railway station in Predazzo.
The Val di Fiemme Railway was built between 1916 and 1917 as a supply line during the First World War, connecting Auer/Ora with Predazzo. Today, numerous bridges, viaducts and former railway buildings still tell the story of this historic route. The well-preserved section between Auer/Ora and San Lugano offers particularly impressive views across South Tyrol's southern Adige Valley. A cycling experience combining history, nature and ever-changing landscapes.
