Have you ever heard of Plaus? Probably not, as it is dwelling in the shadow of bigger names like Naturno, Rablà or Laces. Plaus however has plenty to offer for a bike holiday in Merano & environs!

The village is located directly at the Via Claudia Augusta and also features a train station. Especially pleasure cyclists take advantage of this environmentally friendly transport in order to reach Malles and cycle back to the starting point on the Val Venosta cycling path.

The central location near Naturno makes Plaus also very attractive for mountain-bikers and road cyclists. From the valley basin with large orchards and vineyards you can quickly reach all MTB tours, start your basic training on South Tyrolean cycling tracks or conquer the mountain passes.
