Beat the best – competere con i migliori 4X at Mikes Bikepark in Sarnthein

A great 4X competition will be the season opener 2014 at Mike’s Bike Park at Sarntheim/Italy, the first Bike Park of South Tyrol. The weekend of 12./13. april will see a new format: Beat the Best means that every mountainbiker can compete against top pros who are invited by the organiser. From the startline you will race aganist the german champion Guido Tschugg and the czech pro riders Thomas Slavic and Adam Stasek. Also invited is the italian youngster Stefano Dolfino who was best italian rider at the 4X Pro series last year at the race in Val di Sole.
Every mountainbiker with a suited MTB and protection garment can train, qualify and race after inscribing to the race. On saturday and sunday morning there are mandatory free training sessions before the qualification runs start (sunday from 10.00 am). Mandatory clothing are full face helmet, back protection and as a further minimum knee protectors.
The riders can inspect the qualification course wich is the same as the race course. Every rider with a start number can train on the course during the official training sessions. There is a mandatory training run on sunday, complete practicing time will include a minimum of 2 hours. Qualification on race day starts no sooner than 10.00 am, followed by the final runs.
