Börz-Plose Bike Day

Along with the Sella Ronda Bike Day and the Maratona dles Dolomites, there is now a third top-level bicycling event in 2015. For the second time, the Börz-Plose Bike Day, a car-free day, will take place on June 26, 2016.

B?rz

The route of the Börz Plose Bike Day race leads around the Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch pass. Everyone is invited to join in and to participate in this leisurely bicycle trip, as it is not intended as a competitive event. Participants are free to choose at which level and for how long they want to join the race, and the only recommendation is to join the circuit in a clockwise direction. Participation is free of charge. Participating cyclists will face a varied total distance of 61.8 miles.

The Börz, the original Ladin name for Würzjoch, is situated at the foot of the Sass Putia/ Peitlerkofel mountain, with its magnificent views and access points from Antermoia, Luson/Lüsen, S. Pietro/St. Peter (Funes Valley) and S. Andrea/St. Andrä, creating a varied tour.

Route: S. Andrea - Cornale di Sopra - Walder - Luson - Pezzé (S. Nicolo) - Stadel - Kalkofen - Malga Müller - Cialciagn/Gunggan intersection – Rodella Alpine hut – Halslhütte Alpine hut – Edelweiss shelter - "Russis" intersection - Plancios - Eores - S. Andrea
