Mountain bike tour to the Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut

Mountain bike round trip (number 269) with gorgeous panoramic view to the Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut.

From the parking place LeNoir take the forest trail no. 16 to Leadner Alm Mountain Hut and left from there to Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut (1,875 m).

From the Vöraner Alm Alp Inn the way no. 2 descents to Wurzer Alm Mountain Hut (1707 m). Then continuing along the trails no. 2A and 11, both of which run through the forest, to Leadner Alm Mountain Hut and then back to the starting point in Vöran/Verano.

Variant: From the Vöraner Alm Mountain Hut return the same way to reach the starting point.

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano - Bolzano/Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo, follow the street to Vöran/Verano – the parking place is located above Grüner Baum Restaurant and Das Stübele Restaurant.

Road closure Pürstlingweg -  The section from the 'Hanseler' farm to the 'Talwiesen' junction, hiking trail 16A, is temporarily closed. The entire road is closed to all vehicles and pedestrians due to maintenance work.
