398 E-bike tour Plafötsch – Haniger

Challenging hut-tour in Tiers am Rosengarten.
This tour, which is especially recommended for e-bikers because of its 800 meters of altitude difference, leads past alpine huts which offer refreshments. The tour offers a fantastic view of the Rosengarten massif with the impressive Vajolet towers.
Directions
The tour starts in St. Zyprian at the valley station of the new cable car of Tiers. First you follow the asphalted main road in direction of Passo Carezza/Karerpass until a forest road turns sharply to the left after 2.2 km (signpost Plafötsch Alm). From there it is about 2.5 km uphill to the Plafötsch mountain hut. From there, the trail continues steadily uphill to the Haniger Schwaige mountain hut, which is located directly below the Vajolet towers. From here, follow the same road downhill for about 1.5 km until the path turns left. Follow the forest road until you reach hairpin bend no. 8 of the main road. Here you follow the asphalted main road to the starting point in St. Zyprian.
