Pumptracks

Pumptracks are popular meeting spots for kids, teens, and adults. South Tyrol now boasts several spectacular pumptracks. No wonder, since the company F-Tech – the Italian branch of pumptrack pioneers Velosolutions – is based in Merano. Here you’ll find out where to discover the best pumptracks in South Tyrol and what makes them so special.

Pumptrack Lagundo – The first pumptrack in South Tyrol
The pumptrack in Lagundo is located right on the popular Adige Valley Cycle Path and was the first asphalt pumptrack built in South Tyrol by F-Tech. Thanks to its location near a playground and a recreation area with picnic spots, it’s perfect for families.

Tip: Lagundo is easily accessible by bike and offers many options for relaxed cycling tours along the Adige Valley.

Pumptrack Badia – With breathtaking Dolomite views
The pumptrack in Badia was built in summer 2024 by F-Tech and impresses not only with its size but also with its unique setting. Located right in the village, the pumptrack offers breathtaking views of the majestic Dolomites. It’s considered the most scenic pumptrack in all of South Tyrol. Watch out in the first left-hand turn: there’s a pump built in here!

Tip: Combine a bike session on the pumptrack with a bike tour in Alta Badia, a hike, or a visit to the nearby playground.

Pumptrack San Lorenzo – Fast and fun
In autumn 2024, the pumptrack in San Lorenzo was opened in a newly developed sports zone and has already become a real highlight. The local sports club pushed the project forward in cooperation with the municipal administration, and the pumptrack is now the third asphalt pumptrack in South Tyrol. The asphalt surface offers lots of speed and riding fun in a compact space. No surprise it’s already among the most visited pumptracks.

Tip: The new sports zone also offers other leisure activities – perfect for an active day in San Lorenzo.

Pumptrack Naturno – simply WOW

In 2025, another pumptrack was built in Naturno (Merano area), also designed and built by F-Tech, the Italian branch of Velosolutions Switzerland. The pumptrack in Naturno is located near the tennis and beach volleyball courts. Like all the pumptracks featured here, it is asphalted and marked with directional signage that must be followed for safety reasons.

More pumptracks in South Tyrol
In addition to the ones listed above, there are several other pumptracks in South Tyrol, although these are not asphalted. Many are made of dirt or are mobile installations. These are especially suitable for events or temporary bike parks set up in various locations.
