Giro d'Italia with mountain stage finish in Val Martello / South Tyrol
The Giro d'Italia 2013 returns to South Tyrol with a massive mountain stage.
On Friday, May 24th, stage 19 will bring the riders of the three weeks stage race from Ponte di Legno to Val Martello.
During the relative short short stage of 138 km the epic Passo Gavia and Passo dello Stelvio have to be climbed before facing the final climb in Val Martello. Our online tool says more than 4500 meters of ascent. It remains to be seen how the flat kilometers from Prato allo Stelvio to Coldrano will affect the race, but for sure the final ramps before and after the lake in Val Martello will guarantee a great showdown.
