Val Pusteria Cycle Trail

The Val Pusteria Cycle Trail is one of the most impressive cycle trails in the country and crosses the national border to link South Tyrol with East Tyrol in Austria. Most cyclists and e-bikers can master the valley cycle trail through Val Pusteria in several stages. The stage on the Val Pusteria cycle trail from Brunico to San Candido is 33.5 km long. It leads through Valdaora, Monguelfo and Dobbiaco to the pretty village at the foot of the Monte Baranci hiking and skiing mountain, where you can make the return journey by train. It is, of course, also possible to take the train to San Candido and to cycle the 44 km long cycle path to Lienz. From there it is also possible to make the return journey to Val Pusteria by train. The Val Pusteria Cycle Trail can be cycled from Brunico in the opposite direction, towards Rio Pusteria. Pleasure cyclists will find these variations very enjoyable!
