Bike tour St. Leonhard- Walten- St. Leonhard
Directions
From St. Leonhard, follow the Kirchweg and then the Happergweg to the junction with the Platzerbergweg. Turn left here and follow the road to the village of Karlegg, then continue to Walten.
For the return journey, follow the Jaufenpass road back to St. Leonhard.
Parking
• Coming from Meran towards the Passeiertal Valley, take the Jaufenstraße SS44 to Sandhof, shortly before St. Leonhard
• Coming from the Jaufenpass towards Meran, take the Jaufenstraße SS44 to Sandhof, shortly after St. Leonhard
• Coming from the Timmelsjoch towards Moos, continue on the Timmelsjochstraße to Sandhof, shortly after St. Leonhard
Recommended equipment
Wear a cycle helmet and weather-appropriate clothing and take enough water and food with you. Before setting off, check your bike and make sure that the brakes, tyres and lights are working properly.
