Tierser Alpl

Wonderful panoramic tour across the Alpe di Siusi high up to the Tierser Alpl chalet. A long descent down to Siusi allo Sciliar promises pure fun. The tour begins with an energy-saving cable car trip to Alpe di Siusi. From here you wind gently along the "Joch" asphalt road uphill to the Molignon mountain hut. Now begins the steep, sweaty climb to the Tierser Alpl; here you have to cope with a gradient of up to 20%. However, the view from the splendid location of the mountain hut rewards all your efforts (refreshment facilities). The tour leads onward on undulating meadow trails to the Zallinger and then you enjoy cycling on gravel downhill to Saltria. You reach Compaccio again along the road, where the descent to Siusi allo Sciliar begins. A narrow, sometimes blocked, steep track circles down towards Bad Ratzes. (Caution: This stretch is very slippery in wet conditions). Then a very undulating path through the forest forms the crowning conclusion to this magnificent MTB tour.
