Monte Sole Trail

The Monte Sole Trail is the epitome of trail quality, for which Laudes in Val Venosta is well-known. The trail on Monte Sole is feasible from March to November. It is usually very dry, challenging and because there are a variety of routes, it is also feasible for beginners and most of all, it offers variety. The Monte Sole Trail is reached via the good tarmac road from Castelbello-Ciardes, either by cycling under your own steam, or by take the shuttle or funicular from Laudes. (Note: Bikes are carried only from 7 am to 8.30 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm once per day). The trail, which is regarded as one of the finest in the Alps, begins below the San Martino in Passiria car park and offers pure fun on a mounting bike from top to bottom.
