The mountain bike tour to the Rifugio Forcola/Furkelhütte is a wonderful tour to a hut with a breathtaking view and the possibility to stop for refreshments. As the tour runs through a forest path it is very suitable for e-bikers.
From Gomagoi turn right to Stelvio, before the village turn left and continue to the game reserve "Fragges". Then follow the forest road past the Malga di Prato/Prader Alm to the Rifugio Forcola. The way back is along the alpine path nr. 4a and 4. The path nr. 2 leads back to "Fragges".
From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi.
In order to get to the starting point, the parking area at Gomagoi next to the fort is the most suitable.
If you do not want to travel to Gomagoi by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Gomagoi in about 15 minutes. The bus stop is located directly at Gomagoi.
