This scenic bike tour follows the Adige River from Auer/Ora to Lake Garda, passing through charming towns, lush orchards, and vineyards. The route is suitable for cyclists of all levels, featuring well-marked bike paths and gentle gradients.
Starting in Auer/Ora, follow the Adige cycle path through Egna/Neumarkt, Salorno/Salurn, and San Michele all'Adige. Continue to Trento, where a stop to explore the historic center is recommended. Proceed through Rovereto and Mori. From Mori, a climb leads to the San Giovanni Pass, followed by a scenic descent to Nago. Finally, reach Torbole and Riva del Garda, where the lake offers stunning views.
For the return journey, trains run from Rovereto to Auer/Ora. Regional trains offer regular services and accommodate bicycles, subject to specific conditions.
