Directions
The cycling tour starts at the main square in Auer and follows Hilbweg to St. Peterweg. The cycle route then turns left onto Palainweg, passing through green apple orchards to a small bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue left to the Adige bridge. Cross it as well and follow the road for about 200 metres. At the junction for Gmund/Klughammer, turn right and continue along the road. The route passes a military area and beautiful orchards before reaching the shore of Lake Caldaro at Klughammer. Once at the lake, follow the signs for the “Lake Circuit”, which loops around the lake and returns to Auer along the same route.
Description to arrive at destination
Auer can be reached via the A22 Brenner Motorway by taking the Neumarkt–Auer–Tramin exit. From there, follow the road towards Auer to the village centre.

At Heinrich-Lona-Platz in Auer.

- From Bolzano train station, take the train to Auer train station. From there, continue with bus line 122 or 140 to the „Hilbweg“ bus stop in the centre of Auer.
- Alternatively, take bus line 120 from Bolzano train station directly to the „Hilbweg“ bus stop in Auer.
