MTB tour La Crusc/Santa Croce

From the Tourist Office Badia you ride down the road to the river and climb up to San Leonardo.
On the right side of the St. Leonhard church, follow the signs "Oies", where you can visit the birthplace of St. Ujöp Freinademetz. From the hamlet Oies the tour goes uphill and after the underpass turn left on a gravel road leading to the farmsteds Vagiarëi and Arciara.
You cycle, partly through the forest, to the village of Furnacia in La Val. The single trail uphill to Furnacia requires technical and physical strength.
From Furnacia you drive down the asphalt road towards the valley to the farmsted of Plans / sports area. Shortly before Plans there is the possibility to fill the water bottles at a fountain.
Turn left at the sports field on the right and follow the sign Spëscia up to the "Armentara meadows". From the meadows you reach after a demanding uphill ride the church and hospice Santa Croce. The Santa Croce is a unique place with breathtaking panorama - ideal for a break.
On the long, technical but not too steep single track, path no. 15, you reach the village Rudiferia. Continue on the right side of the valley back to the starting point.
Follow the SS244 Val Badia road towards La Villa.
