Bike tour on the Rodeneck and Lüsen Alps

The Rodengo and Luson Alp is one of the largest in South Tyrol. It is excellent for a nice bike ride.

From the upper limit of the car park starts the forestry, with impeccable signs. Passing to the left of the panoramic panel, we cycle past the first few meters in the woods.
After an abundant 1.5 km we reach the first large clearing. The look now wanders from the verdant meadows in the foreground to the imposing rock formation of the Putia in the background. Passing through Malga Roner we return for a short distance into the woods. Leaving it behind, the entire mountain ridge opens up, with its open pastures. And the forest that we can follow goes through it! In a very light climb we reach the junction for the Rastner Refuge. We continue a bit in a straight line and already we are at the Ref. Campoforte, with a large sun terrace and views of the Plose and the peaks of Puez and the Odle. If you wish, you can follow the forest along the mountain side for a further 1.5 km, to admire the beautiful panorama for a longer time.  The return route follows that of the outward journey.
If you want a circular tour, then follow the road to the Astjoch junction and on to the Kreuzwiesen Alm. From the Kreuzwiesen Alm, follow the signs to the Schweiger Böden car park, on to the village of Lüsen, to Brixen and then back to Rodengo.
