Discover Pfunders Up Close: Bike tour to the Bodenalm

This tour to the Bodenalm is ideal if you want to explore the Pfunders Valley by mountain bike. The route leads through varied mountain landscapes and combines sporting challenges with more relaxed sections.

Directions

The starting point is the parking lot at the sports field in Pfunders/Fundres at 1,158 metres. From there, follow the paved road towards Dun. At the Eggerseite junction, turn onto the old road to Dun. The gravel road leads you through the mountain landscape. Follow trail no. 13 and the signs to the Boden Alm (1,700 m).

The return follows the same route. The tour ends back at the parking lot at the sports field in Pfunders/Fundres.

Bike & Hike tip: From the Bodenalm, you can continue on foot to the Edelrauthütte at 2,545 metres.

Description to arrive at destination

By car via the Pustertal State Road (SS49) to Vintl. Turn into the Pfunders Valley and follow the road to Pfunders.

Parking

You can park conveniently at the parking lot by the sports field in Pfunders and start your tour directly.
