When travelling south, in South Tyrol you pass by Valle Isarco. This bike region starts on the Main Alpine Ridge and stretches all the way to Bolzano/Bozen. When looking to the left and to the right of the narrow Valle Isarco, you might not think that there are fantastic options for a bike holiday.

The advantages of a bike vacation in Valle Isarco are however obvious. Bressanone/Brixen, Velturno/Feldthurns and the other villages enjoy an ideal position and offer unique tours for road and pleasure cyclists, and also cultural and culinary highlights for all those who want to discover the region.

A few years ago, the German MountainBIKE magazine also noticed the many advantages Valle Isarco has to offer: since 2010, Bressanone has been the venue for the MountainBIKE Testival always at the end of September, start of October.

The highlights in Valle Isarco:
  • 6.6 km flow – the new single trail to Plose Mountain
  • The Valle Isarco cycling track for pleasure cyclists
  • The MountainBIKE Testival
  • The "Törggele" period in autumn with new wine and chestnuts
