Pustertal Valley Bike Route: Mühlbach - Innichen

The Pustertal cycle path takes you through the varied landscapes of South Tyrol, past villages and towards the Austrian border. Along the route, you can discover the region’s nature and culture. The cycle path offers suitable sections for both sporty cyclists and families.


Directions

The paved cycle path starts in Mühlbach and takes you through Vandoies di Sotto, Vandoies di Sopra, Chienes, Casteldarne and San Lorenzo di Sebato to Brunico. The 25.5-kilometre route is flat and ideal for a leisurely ride through the landscape.

From Brunico, continue through Perca, Valdaora di Sotto, Valdaora di Mezzo, Valdaora di Sopra, Ried, Villabassa and Dobbiaco to San Candido. This second stage is also flat and covers 33.5 kilometres. It is suitable for a relaxed ride while exploring the region.


Parking

In Mühlbach, there are several parking options to start your bike ride comfortably. Public parking spaces are available both in the village center and on the outskirts, making them ideal for day visitors. Additionally, there are convenient parking spots at the Mühlbach train station, providing easy access to the cycle path.

If you do not have your own bike with you, you can easily rent one from Bike Rental Leitner directly at Rio di Pusteria train station.
